All of our dogs enjoyed this crunchy, airy treat Fromm Four-Star Nutritionals Cranberry Liver Low Fat Dog Treats. Our picky eater was slightly hesitant at first but decided it was good enough to eat. No one really gobbled down like they’ve done on some other treats.
I like this as a low calorie alternative to some of the higher calorie treats available, also cranberries are healthy way to help the urinary tract.
The treat itself is light and airy so while it may look large, about the size of a quarter, there’s not a lot of substance to it. Due to the crunchy texture it’s not a good training treat option as it crumbles too easy. This treat is great to feed to a dog on diet restriction who’d like a little something extra without all the extra calorie worry that would come with most treats available.
I don’t think I’d go out of my way to advocate this product but I won’t recommend against it. I can say it’s a great option from what is available out there especially being made of minimal ingredients and in the USA.
